The Early Stage Infrastructure Readiness (ESIIR) is a bespoke programme that consist of a mix of virtual and in-person workshops.
To operationalize the ESIIR, The African Catalyst and Brickstone jointly undertook a comprehensive assessment to identify Infrastructure Value Chains (IVCs) with the highest potential to advance regional integration and green industrialization across Africa.
Through this assessment, four priority Infrastructure Value Chains emerged as having the greatest transformative impact on the continent’s sustainable growth agenda. These Value Chains include
1-Mid-Scale Power
2-Gas Commercilization
3-Transport Infrastructure
4-Healthcare Infrastructure
These value chains were selected based on their capacity to (1) Drive inclusive industrialization and job creation (2) Strengthen well beign trade and connectivity, and (3) Promote carbon reduction through innovation and green technologies.
Each IVC is further complemented by Three (3) Catalytic Anchor Sub-Sector flagship interventions, which serve as practical entry points for mobilizing investment and accelerating infrastructure value chain development across Africa.
