Website Administrator & Content Developer

Full Time (Hybrid)

The Role

This role is Hybrid Role that is based in Ikeja, Lagos.

This role is expected to be in the office an average of at least three days a week, but with flexibility around the specifics of that schedule

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is Analytical, Driven and can execute.

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Web Administrator to join our team.

As a Web Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all our websites (mostly WordPress) to ensure optimal performance and user experience. You will work closely with various teams,  to ensure the website meets our business objectives. The ideal candidate should have excellent technical skills, strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of web administration & optimization best practices.

Main Aspects of the Job

Web Administrator Responsibilities
  1. Manage and maintain the organization's websites, ensuring that it is up-to-date, properly functioning, and visually appealing.
  2. Regularly monitor website performance, conduct audits, and implement necessary improvements to ensure optimal speed, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
  3. Collaborate with web developers and designers to implement website enhancements, updates, and new features as needed.
  4. Perform regular backups of the website and maintain a disaster recovery plan to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime.
  5. Optimize website content, metadata, and URLs for search engines to improve organic search rankings and drive more traffic to the website.
  6. Monitor website analytics and generate reports to track key performance indicators, such as traffic, conversion rates, and user engagement.
  7. Ensure website security by implementing appropriate measures, such as SSL certificates, firewalls, and regular vulnerability scanning.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, such as broken links, error messages, and usability problems.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in web administration and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  10. Provide support and training to internal users on content management systems, website maintenance, and best practices for creating and publishing web content.
Web Optimization & PPC
  • Analyze website traffic and user behavior using tools like Google Analytics and Google search
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of SEO efforts
  • Stay updated with industry trends and search engine algorithm changes
  • Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and marketing team to align SEO strategies with overall business goals.
  • Create and Setup PPC Adverts for various products 
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for website content improvement and expansion
  • Keep up-to-date with best practices SEO strategies and market trends
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SEO-related issues as they arise.
Digital Content Development
  • Develop and execute daily social media video content strategies across various platforms espacially short form videos
  • Create compelling and visually appealing graphics and videos to support product promotions
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop product promotion strategies that contribute to overall product growth
  • Produce product review videos, showcasing excellent speaking and presentation skills
  • Contribute to the company’s brand awareness and drive user acquisition through creative content

Additional Infomation

Skills Required for the Role
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a WordPress Adminsitation & Optimization 
  • Proficiency in English (excellent writing and speaking skills)
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, WebTrends)
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong graphic design and image editing skills (Photoshop, Canva, etc.)
  • Video editing skills with the ability to create engaging product promotion videos
  • Demonstrated experience in developing successful product promotion strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with online audiences
  • Ability to contribute to product growth through innovative content strategie
Payroll Consideration

This is a 6 month contract payroll is currently priced between N150,000  (but could be increased) depending on the experience and clear understanding of the role
