INFRACONNECT 3.0

On Saturday, October 11th, 2025, infrastructure professionals, investors, and innovators gathered at The SOTO Gallery in Ikoyi, Lagos for the third edition of InfraCONNECT, an initiative organized by The African Catalyst (TAC) in collaboration with Brickstone Africa.

Designed as a curated networking platform, InfraCONNECT 3.0 brought together project developers, enablers, and capital partners in an intimate, agenda-driven setting aimed at sparking collaboration and accelerating early-stage infrastructure projects across Africa.

The event ran from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., blending insightful discussions with structured networking sessions, awards, and an informal Grills & Drinks segment that encouraged participants to continue meaningful conversations beyond the panel stage.

Key Highlights

InfraCONNECT’s hallmark is its focus on value-driven interaction—ensuring that every engagement is both substantial and outcome-oriented. This year’s edition continued that tradition with a structured agenda that balanced dialogue, recognition, and real connection.

The evening began with Registration and Networking (4:00–4:10 p.m.), followed by a Welcome Introduction (4:10–4:20 p.m.) from event hosts Ola-Jacobs Ipinmoronti who reiterated TAC’s mission: to create a trusted bridge between Africa’s infrastructure visionaries and the resources needed to bring their projects to life.

The Fireside Chat (4:20–5:10 p.m.) was the intellectual centerpiece of the event. Mr. Femi and Mr Tola Talabi shared candid insights into the realities of energy project development—from concept to bankability—highlighting the critical role of early-stage financing, project preparation, and public-private collaboration.

The Awardees & Announcements (5:10–5:20 p.m.) segment recognized three participants who demonstrated exceptional contributions to Developing and Financing Infrastructure Project Programme. Shortly after, Closing Remarks, the evening concluded with “Grills & Drinks: The Networking” (5:30–8:00 p.m.), a relaxed yet strategic networking session that has become the signature hallmark of InfraCONNECT—where introductions transform into partnerships.

Conclusion

InfraCONNECT 3.0 reaffirmed its role as more than an event—it’s a catalyst for collaboration. By bringing together verified project owners, enablers, and capital providers under one roof, The African Catalyst continues to strengthen the continent’s infrastructure development value chain from the ground up.

Looking ahead, the Structured Event Networking (SEN) initiative introduced during the closing remarks will extend the conversation beyond the event, providing an ongoing platform for participants to co-develop, finance, and monitor infrastructure ventures.

As Africa’s demand for energy, transport, and industrial infrastructure grows, initiatives like InfraCONNECT offer a practical blueprint for how collaboration—not just capital—can unlock the next wave of transformative projects.

In a landscape where connection is currency, InfraCONNECT 3.0 proved once again that meaningful networking is the foundation of impactful infrastructure development.
